Through this collaboration, ROR will provide MediaMarkt with a specialized transport solution for national distribution flows that uses HVO (Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil) biodiesel.<\/p>\n<p>This alliance includes the deployment of a megatrailer (EMS-60) for road transport, which not only runs on HVO biofuel but also has the capacity to carry up to 58% more cargo per trip compared to a standard truck. This increased capacity will reduce the number of trips required and significantly lower the carbon footprint per transported unit.<\/p>\n<p>The HVO biodiesel used by ROR stands out as an immediate solution for the decarbonization of road transport. Over its lifecycle, it can reduce CO2 emissions by up to 90% compared to traditional fossil fuels. As a result, MediaMarkt and ROR will reduce CO2 emissions by up to 243 tons per year and remove 91 trucks from the roads with the implementation of the megatrailer.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are very proud to announce this new collaboration, which is part of our company\u2019s sustainability strategy.
